An imposing former gentleman's residence, The Belmont is well known for our warm welcome, friendly efficient service and the relaxing atmosphere. Combining Victorian elegance and modern comforts, The Belmont offers Adult Only 4 Star Guest Accommodation in an excellent location close to Shanklin Old Village and the beach. (16 years minimum). The hotel has thirteen well appointed en-suite rooms, including double, twin and ground floor rooms. All have Flatscreen Free view television's with built in digital radio, Wifi, hairdryer, fan, hospitality tray and toiletries. The heating in the rooms is independantly controlled and all ensuites have a heated towel rail. Our Premier and Superior rooms all have a safe, most face the sea or the garden. Our secluded sun-trap rear garden is ideal for relaxing in the afternoon sun, loungers,chairs and tables are available for use by the unheated Pool (Open Seasonally weather permitting) in the garden. Relax in our Dr Detox Sauna. Rejuvenate your body, prevent and repair sports injuries, and ease your every day aches and pains with our Doctor Detox Infrared Therapy Cabin.For the more energetic visit the Tone Zone for a light workout on our running machine, crosstrainer or rowing machine and lastly there are a few light dumb bells available.The well-stocked bar is a cosy room opening onto the veranda through French doors - the perfect place for an evening drink or sample our range of meals from the menu.Early Breakfasts can be arranged for those early birds from 7.00am our normal breakfast times are 8.30 - 10.00am which are served in our breakfast room which over looks the garden. You may choose from our buffet tables for our continental breakfast and our Full English, Vegetarian, Dairy Free and Gluten free breakfast are freshly cooked to order.Relax in the morning sun and read your newspaper on our veranda with a coffee, or take in the view of St Saviours Church from our Lounge where we have a selection of board games to challenge your partner with on a rainy day. We are open for 50 weeks a year.

Suggested Car Ferry Routes to The Island: From London, Home Counties, East Anglia - Southampton or Portsmouth. From the West of England and South Wales - Southampton or Lymington. From the Midlands and North - Southampton or Portsmouth. From Dorset - Lymington. From Sussex - Portsmouth.There is at least one crossing an hour on all routes. The Portsmouth and Lymington ferries are both run by Wightlink so you can travel out from one port and back to the other.
